You will not get to much power out of that. 5hp gaine. not worth 150 buckes if you ask me.

Upgrading to a WAI (warm air intake) or a CAI (cold air intake) or a custom intake setup is a great idea, razial. I have a WAI / CAI hybrid custom setup in my grand am (3.4, same engine / layout), and it has been great so far. The amount of power you will gain will vary depending on your mods. If you installed just a cone filter in place of the airbox, you would be looking at a 5-7 hp gain. This can be done very cheaply to - I built my entire intake for about 50 bucks. Custom intakes are totally worth it.
Read these two threads - they will tell you tons about intakes and other small mods for the 3.4. Good luck, and welcome to the forum.

yo thanx for the help guys, sry it took so long to get back to this lol.
i just finished setting it up actually, we went for an entire custom job. full intake system then went for a few other small mods. total gain......+35hp makeing it now a total of 185. next job is to finish the exhaust system and tune the gear shift ratio. heh that should be fun.
