Stabilizer bar end links

Anyone else wear out the stabilizer bar end links in less than 20K miles? I've got an '03 and all the end links were just swapped out under warranty both front and rear. Is this a common theme? Just trying to brace myself for when the warranty's up.

Mine were all replaced at 33000 miles

Yup.. rule of thumb on the Envoy/TB's is every 30k you'll most likely be needing sway bar end links! Its like common knowledge ;)

How can you tell if they have gone bad? Is there an easy inspection I can do?

Thanks.

Well you are going to get a noise when going over bumps, turning, sometimes one or the other or both. An easy way to check it so get down on your knees and locate the end links. Have somebody else push down and lift up on the front end (be careful! you dont want your friend tearing off your faschia or something, lol). You will be able to hear a noise (clank, clank) or see the end links appear "sloppy". They shouldnt have any play in them.

"Its like common knowledge ;)"

I'm coming from the Dakota world where the ball joints were the common knowledge wearout item, guess I just didn't know the Envoy's yet. LOL
