GSR Seats Into 99 EK...

Hey whats up everybody...I was just wondering how easy is the install of '01 gsr seats into a 99 4 dr honda civic? Will the rear seats fit? cause I wanted to get both sets, front and back. Will they go right onto my stock railings or do I also need the gsr railings? How easy do the back seats go in? IF anyone has this done, please post pics!! Thanks! :D

The front seats will be fine. You will need the rails.
The rear seats will be narrower than the stock seats... When you swap in rear teg seats into a Civic, you will notice a couple inches of space between the seats and the panels on each side of the car.

hmmm....the rear seems like it'll be a problem...are they that noticable? does it look funny/messed up? What rear seats would fit better into the civic? I was thinkin of a 99 acura CL....dont know.....throw me a freakin bone here lmao :D

i heard once somplace i can't remember, that 4dr teg seats fit properly. ones what don't have the black tray thing in the middle. i may be wrong, but thats what i was once told when i wanted teg seats.

SI seats are cloth with a more unique pattern... I think.

Because other rear seats do not have 40/60 setup as Civics, I would just recommend rewrapping them.

hmmm...dont they have black leather seats? the ones w/ 'si' stiched on em? well anyway...if i rewrap them or whatever, would they look good w/ the gsr seats in the front?:confused:

SI's w/ leather!? :huh: Uhh... last time I checked they were cloth unless the dealership put in some kinda package deal.
Just match the leather of the teg seats for the rears! :)

They actually do have Si's that come w/ leather seats. I've seen two in person. The guys said that they like ordered the seats when they bought the car, so i guess its some extra special thing. :D Some other guy also told me that when people sell their Si's they usually take the seats w/ em, when they sell the car they swap in some shitty seats :rolleyes: LOL. I'll try to get a pic
