0/2 problems, 2000,r/s

I am having terrible problems with my O/2 sensors......both 0/2 sensors on the exhaust have been replaced in the last 3,000 miles and i think the newest one is shorting out again. It causes my engine light to come on and it will backfire and lose power between shifts....PLEASE help!!! any suggestions? could it be any thing else causing the sensors to crap out so early? thank you......

No, no mods at all done to the car...........actually not sure if its the sensor now.........have no idea, i unplugged the sensors and still the same problems.......should i reset the ecu?

do you still have some type of warranty?

when the light comes back on, go to autozone and tell them you need to get your codes read. it will be free. post the codes back on here, and i can tell you just about exactly what needs to be done(or a combination of things) to fix the problem.
