You will be better off to stay with the 3.1. There are no superchargers available for the 3.1 although you may be able to adapt a turbo but that is doubtful too. A 3.8 would fit the car but only after some serious modifications and the need for practically everything from the donor car including PCM, Transmission, wiring harness, fuel pump and a host of other items. Rebuilding or replacing the 3.1 would be the least expensive way to go.

ah. a little help!
I'm brand new to the whole forum thing so I hope this gets through. I know from reading through past threads that you guys don't like renewing old threads but I have some handy info on turbo's for 92-95 3.1 and 3.3 liter engines. After many trials (see failers) we finaly came up with a system that works. Porsche turbo's from the 1992 C2's WILL work! It's not cheap and the average person can not do it their selves. ebay is probably your best bet. We bought three there. Be warned if you put one of these turbo's in with out completely rebuilding the engine you WILL blow it sky high, trust me I did it twice! Once you get it dialed in though there's nothing like it. Once I figure out how to upload Photo's I'll post any kind of pics and answer any questions I can. This site is a God send and I find myself very fortunite to have found you guys. Hope I helped someone.
