MAF Sensor .. Easy or Hard

is it very hard to change the MAF Sensor on a 99 GT? Dealer wants $450 to change it. Any help greatly appreciated

Thats a rip off. It is easy to change and about a 10 minute job. Should be located on the top of the throttle body. Black component about 2 x 3 inches with two torx safety screws holding it on and one electrical plug. Cost ranging from $35 used to $135.00 new.
BTW - If your 99 GT was made late in production into the 2000 model year, it could have the MAF sensor located at the input of the throttle body and air cleaner input hose.

yea i am definately going to do it myself, it's worth it to have it towed back to my house, they wanted 210 for the part and 180 in labor and i just got the part for $130 and the tow is $40

got it fixed, took me a whole 5 minutes max...wow wish i could sucker people into paying me $180 for 5 minutes of work...lol...btw i bought the star driver at autozone for $3...thanx for the help all
