Hi everyone
Please can you help. I have just bought a Toyota Windum 2.5G which I have discovered is also called a Lexus ES 300. It is a 1994 model. Can someone please explain what the following buttons do:
The ECT Man and ECT Power buttons next to the automatic gear shift. And the small red button by the gear shift?
When you turn your lights on to full why can you rotate the arm one further notch onto auto.... what does auto do?
Can you stop the car locking all the doors when you drive along... passengers can't get out when I stop unless I open all the doors with the central locking button.
Thank you very much if you can answer these questions.
Dave

The ECT Power buttons give you more power but less fuel economy.
Small red button--guessing here since mines not red--Overdrive switch
Auto for the lights, is exactly that, they come on Automatically when its dark.
Car locks for safety reasons. Solution: passenger can open the locks for their side only.

The RED button unlocks the shifter so that you can move it with the engine off and without standing on the foot brake.
