Changing inner tie-rod end...

Had a free suspension check at a local shop, and it turns out my inner drivers side tie rod end is toast...
$29 for the part...$620 for labour (that includes rear brakes and alignment too)
My Haynes manual doesn't cover the inner rod end, so I'm looking for some help here...
Anyone know what to expect or what is covered in changing it?
Thanks
