Best Headers?

I was originally going to go with some DC sports 4-2-1 2 piece ceramic headers, but have recently been reading they are not the best bang for the buck.

Hmm... the best header. If all you want is a header to throw on a stock civic motor. Pick up some el'cheapo off ebay, and put your money elsewhere. If you want a header that will perform well, with a built motor. Then that's a different story.

I did search and did not find an answer that satisfied me in terms of pro's and cons.

I was also wondering, after i/h/e.. what would be the next thing to do to my n/a D16z6? Thoughts of turbo down the road but don't have enough money and know how for it yet.. so looking at the NA path right now.

Cam, adjustable cam gear, fuel upgrades, ignition upgrades maybe. If you're going to go turbo, you'll be wasting your $ on the header, intake and possibly exhaust (you may need to go bigger when you turbo), and you'll never get back the $ you paid for he parts.

I know I would need a new manifold and exhaust and such.. but I'm trying to figure out what motor work would give me more power w/ NA as well as start to prepare for a turbo, if I do decide to do so.

Gee I never thought of that. Oh wait, or maybe I just didn't find a satisfactory answer.

The best bang for your buck is Nitrous Oxide considering you use it right.
Chikara makes a good header for 4 bangers, also know as Heddman Headers.
Another place to spend money is on SUSPENSION. It's a whole lot easier making a slow car handle well then it is to make a slow car fast.

Well I mean.. theorectically I'd like to do everything.. turbo, nitrous, etc.. but unfortunately they make this stuff called $$$ :frown:

Start pushin' man, you'll get $ quick ;) If you do the right setup, there's no reason to use turbo and nitrous.

Why not? Was reading about a setup where a guy has an RPM activated spray until he reaches boost at which point the spray shuts off. Seemed pretty nice.

Probably because he has a huge turbo on there that takes forever to spool. I know a guy with a Talon who has a big turbo on there and he told me that he has to use nitrous to get the thing to spool :dunno:. But if you get the right sized turbo, you shouldn't need to spray and you'll still be able to make some big power.
