hi everyone, i'm new to the Subaru section,
i'm thinking about buying an Impreza as a 1st car.
something like 1992-1995. I have few questions...
I don't have to ask if the car is good, we're talking about Subaru :D
is there any 1992 STi? ( searched on google and didn't find anything so I guess not )
how much can cost a 1992 WRX or a simple Impreza?
does it need to be WRX to have AWD ?
How much Horsepower for a normal Impreza and for a WRX ?
thank you for the informations and answers

Since Subaru only introduced the Impreza in 1993, it's practically a physical impossibility that there would be a 1992 STI ;)
I'm assuming the STI only became available in Canada at the same time as it became available in the USA, which would be 2003, the same probably applies to the WRX which would then be 2001.
For a bit of history, the first STI was built in 1994 and has been a continued tradition since then.
All Subaru Impreza's since 1996 are AWD, regardless of whether it is an L. 2.5 RS or a WRX, prior to 1996 they were available as a FWD too, but post 1996 all Subaru's regardless of model are AWD.
Subaru are the only manufacture to offer every model they make as an AWD.
How much a 1994 (since there is no 1992) Impreza costs is totally dependant on condition and mileage.
You do realise that the cars that are that old only come in a N/A 1.8 or 2.2 model in North America, right? ;)

and are they AWD or can I get one AWD ?

I've already answered half of that question
For the other half, refer to kbb.com or some similar site and do the research.
