boost boosting

Does anybody know is there is a quick free or low cost way to boost the output of the bi-turbo? Example: a 1987 Grand National all you have to do to get an extra 4 pounds of boost is switch 2 vacume lines. Thats it. 45 seconds worth of work + no money at all = 4 pounds of boost!
