get a haynes manual or look at the pigtail plugs that you can buy at Wal-Mart, auto store etc. The package and the wires on the pigtail ususally tells you what wire is for what purpose.

If you took the factory stereo out of the car, just go to wal-mart or your local car audio store and by the adapter that plugs into the existing factory plug and wire that to your aftermarket stereo.... That will save you multiple headaches when it comes to putting the original stereo back in, or in replacing your stereo, as you can pull the stereo out, take the adapter plug and wire it onto your other stereo, clip it in, and slide it back... Will save you miles of headaches later.

This is the best i can do, however, to test what speaker wires go where, get a 9V battery, tape a wire to each terminal. attach one of the wires to the speaker wire, and then with the other wire just touch it together like you would a positve and negitave on jumper cables, you should get a clicking sound out of the speakers... Keep in mind that the same colors go together, the solid color is the positve and the one with the stripe is usualy negative. However, by the looks of those colors... someone did some aftermaket wiring... Neways, look below ive labled them the best i can.

power set of whires comming from car

blue -- power antenna
black-- negitave
black with green stripe
light blue with red stripe
orange with black stripe
green with purple stripe
yellow with black strip-- usualy constant power...
there should be a solid red, solid yellow, solid black, solid blue and sometimes a few others for Power.

speaker set comming from car

purple with white strip
white with red stripe
white with orange stripe
yellow
brown
light blue with black strip
light blue
green

whires comming from cd player
Ive labeled the ones below as to how the wiring goes on the deck i have...
white-- Front Left speaker positive
white with black stripe-- Front left negitave
purple-- Rear Right positive
purple w/ black stripe-- Rear Right Negitive
green-- Rear Left positive
green w/ black stripe-- Rear Left Negitave
gray-- Front Right Positive
gray w/ black stripe-- Front Right negitave
blue-- Pwr antenna
black-- negitave
yellow-- constant power
red-- positive
