Check this fly ish out. I was on my way to work and I saw a Dodge Ram w/ the ram brake light. Then it hit me. I can make one easily @ work.

So off to work I go...Measure my brake light house, size up Infiniti logo, print it out, shoot it on my Kodak imagesetter and there I go... one logo negative ready to be traced and cut to fit the housing.

My windows are tinted so it looks real tight @ night when you see the logo fly out like the bat signal. It looks real clean and professional and is in no way "ricey" ( 4 all U H8RS). THIS PIC ISN'T THE BEST !! Most of you know taking pics of lights never does the justice of seeing it in person!

Holy sh*t!, that has to be the coolest mod idea ever! I was looking at it, and right there I thought, "BATMAN" hehe.

What light shines through the rear windshield? Does it work in coalition with the brake lights. Can you make one for me to, I will pay you!

All you have to do is find a local prepress shop, like a kinko's type place and ask for a "negative". You'll just need an Infiniti logo. I used Kodak film (like in cameras -only BIG sheets of it) at work (prepress graphic artist for sticker/label manufacturer). On a neg white changes to black and black turns transparent allowing red to shine through. A shop might cost ya $10-15 U.S. or less.

I had one w/ the word "INFINITI" under it, but I like the logo itself better.
G20 SPORT 2002: Did you remove your light or don't 2K2's come w/ brake light?...BTW those LED's are my spoilers' brake light.

Wait I still don't get it, how does the logo light up?!?! I understand that light shines through, but where is the light coming from? The brake light LED?

damn I must be stupid or something. Which light are you talking about? The brake lights or the spoiler LED light? how do they have connection with the sticker?

That is a hella-dope mod!! I was wondering what to do with my third brake light after the spoiler install, I guess Ill play with this idea now...

I think he is referring to the upper brake light that is in the non-T models. At least on mine, I had no spoiler, there is a third brake light mounted on the upper rear deck. Just place the film negative behind(?) the red lense and there you go...

Damn, why didn't anyone mention the 3rd brake light. I know about the 3rd brake light on the non-touring models. The touring models have the LED's instead (like on my car) I guess it wouldn't be possible to do the mod on my car. (It would be possible but a lot of work)

Hell, if I dont do it, Ill give you my housing and assembly...If I can find all the pieces that is....I know I at least have the housing...but the lense, bulb, and wiring are what I have to find....Oh and its beige too, you might have to paint it...

I have a T too, no 3rd brake light. U can pick them up cheap at a salvage yar though. U just have to be able to wire it. Def a cool mod. Not sure I wanna go through the effort to finda housing and do it though. Tint 1st. :)

Screw all this fancy film negative stuff. Just get some black construction paper, cut out the logo (or what ever else tickles your fancy) and stick it over, or behind, the red lense on the third brake light. Viola'

Being ghetto fabulous today....

Heck, I was just thinking about how I could take my digi cam out, take a pic, change the color filter to 2 colors (invert to "negative" here if necessary), and print it out on a transparency. All without ever leaving my home! ;)

That probably would work and would be less ghetto fab. than cutting out construction paper (easier too). Still the transparency will probably have alot of pin-holes in it. Maybe you could opaque 'em out w/ marker, indian ink, etc... (whatever you have "in house")

You should definately try it!!! It looks real nice--the pic doesn't do much justice!
