OK guys I posted that my 3000gt BOV popped off so went and got a used Greddy Type-S from a good friend of mine. I threw it on today and it doesn't seem to blow off and the last thing I want is back spin so help me out.

Check to make sure the vac. line that connects to the bov isnt crimped. Just today on my way home my bov started sounding wierd and not blowing off the whole way (it blew off really short and fast and its usually a long woosh)... I stayed off the turbo untill I got home and the line was crimped a little. If it is completely crimped it prob wont blow off.

the type s also has a adjustment screw on it. im not sure what psi you are running but you will probably need to set the spring a little looser for the lower psi

well if you just want the sound when ever you rev you engine you could make the pssswwttt sound yourself. just kidding yeah you need a turbo to run a BOV and people would make fun of you for only having a bov they would probably classify you as a "wannabe"

You can always get the electronic BOV sounding wannabe thing.. I think they are on EBAY but that would put you in the catagorie of "spota"
For those of you who don't know what a "spota" is... example...he's spota be cool but he isn't.....pronounced SPO-TA ROTFLMFAO :lol2:

The Electronic BOV is probably the most riciest thing you can ever buy for your car.
Its also easy to tell its fake. My NT with turbo sounds so different than when it was NA. Much louder and mean.
