She's gone...

Not to be confused with the Pope thread... because this is good news.

My ex has FINALLY moved out of my apartment... Some of you might remember that she was supposed to be out January 1st, but due to the fact that she totalled her car into a tree and got a DUI on December 28th, she had to give up all her money to retain a lawyer and couldn't afford the down payment on a new place.

But today, all of that changed. After several times of her telling me she was moving out and it not happening, the deal is now done. So glad to see her go. I had a really shitty 5-year relationship with her (for most of which, I wanted out... long story). We finally broke up in October, and she's been living here ever since, much to my chagrin. It's a little hard to get another relationship going when you tell a girl that you still live with your ex LOL.

There is some slightly bad news that accompanies this though... For the last 2 years, I've been using her computer, and my old one doesn't even boot anymore, so looks like I'll be without a PC for a while... which is okay, because I have one in my office, but still........

Also, most of the furniture was mine, but I let her take the couch which I really wanted to keep. So, for the time being, this is my new living room setup:

crap... left my USB cable for my digi at the office..., will post later

In addition, my rent just doubled :banghead: but it's alllllllll worth it.
