Coolant leak

I just bought a '94 F150 XL 4.9L V8. I noticed there's coolant leaking once the car is parked, and it seems to be coming from the back of the engine... any suggestions on where I should start to diagnose the problem?

Possibly freeze plugs.

Is it a 4.9L or a V-8?
The 4.9L is the venerable "300 I-6", the world's best engine.
If it is a V-8, it is either a 5.0L (302) or a 5.8L (351W), they are the only two V-8s to be offered in the F/E-150 line for many years.
