3.1 to 3.4

Title should read 3.4 to 3.1. I'm sure this has been discussed before(I have read most of them) and I am still not clear on if or how hard it will be. Allright here goes, I have a real nice 95 Lumina body with a bad 3.4. I have access to a 1997 3.1 in real good condition. First of all will this work? What will I run into as far as conversions or mods? I guess I'm looking for specifics from bolt up to wiring. Thanks so much for your time and experience.

yeah, get that crappy 3.4 out of there. As far as the engine swap. Make sure you get all the sensors, and everything with the 3.1. including the ecm. Not sure if its a direct bolt in thought. I would think it is. Good luck

Is that the DOHC 3.4? If so, that's a completly different mounting, wire harness, A/C, P/S and cooling Lines/hoses are different, etc. If it's the standard 3.4, I think it would be a drop in replacement, except for the ECM.
