help bleed new clutch

I had to replace my slave and now the pedal feels soft and I can't get into gear. does anyone know how I can bleed the clutch master cylinder. I blead the slave but there must be more air in the system. it lost all the fluid in there.

keep bleeding the slave, and make sure you're doing it right, pump harder and faster....If that doesn't work then you'll have to bench bleed the master, which is a B*$@%, or pressure bleed it. Don't ask me how, I just remember that's what you have to do when the master gets air in it lol.

on second thought, i don't think there is such thing as a master cylinder for the clutch....i think there's only the slave and the part that has the bleeder screw is called the pushrod or something..i've bled my own before and it took a good 20-30 tries before all the air was finally out.

Get a helper. Have the helper pump the pedal at least ten times and hold the pedal. THen break the bleeder loose and tighten it back up. Repeatr several times but make sure you dont let the resevoir go dry. You could also gravity bleed it but that takes forever if there is alot of air in the lines.
