Hi all, I'm new around here and I thought I'd put up some pics of a Pacer I'm doing as a pro turing. I put a 390 with power enhancers from a S/C Rambler I put a V10 in. It's orange and purple Standox automotive paint I mixed up. I'm leaving off the front bumper and I thinned the rear. I still have lots of work to do on it.

Wow, eye-popping indeed. What kit is it? I'd love to do a Pacer but I've never seen em.

Hey,
Wow, that's a pretty rare kit. Awsome man! Where are the twin turbos from? Keep up the great work.

Thanks for the welcome guys. The interior will be tan faux fabric with the roll bar from the kit with a seatbelt crossbar added. As you can see by my Blazer, Nova set I like eye catching paint jobs. The kit is a old MPC kit, I see them on eBay now and then, that's where I got this one. The turbo's them selves came from the old Monogram 56 Chevy with my own exhaust manifolds and down pipes and the throttle bodies and air cleaners from the Duster Street Machine.

My Pacer is just about done. I have a few small things to add to the interior and some radiator hoses.

Thanks for the nice comets on the Pacer. It's a full size Chevy van in the background I'm working on. My www has a bunch of WIP's and completed models.

I love that Pacer! I've been eyeing those on Ebay for some time, my megabux job this summer (haha) should score me one before the fun is over. I really love your paint scheme and the break between the colors is perfectly placed - awesome! Your paint work is awesome, like tonio said. I am enjoying seeing all of your projects.

i just looked through your albums. your work is simply amazing. that mid 60's chevy pickup in orange and purple. i used to have a 65 fleet side and that was EXACTLY how i was going to paint it. lol

Thanks guys. Paint is my strong point, I started doing custom paint jobs on my bikes in 5th grade and I'm 46 now so I've had some practice. I'm working on my detailing skills to improve them. That Chevy stepside made the cover of Model Cars awhile back. It was damaged with a crack on one of the front fenders so I gave it to a friend that has a 64 1:1.
