I hate to ask, especially since I own a first gen S-10 Blazer, but Is it worth the price of 20" rims, and tires?
Your looking at over $2000.00 canadian for a cheap demo set on sale and replacing the tires in the future will practicaly bankrupt you.
You can probably find some nice 16" wheels at the autowreck that will fit. Paint the insets Polish them up, and you'll be happier.
Plus you'll still have enough money left over to replace the motor if it blows up on you

No offense to anyone with 20s on a s-series, but I think that large of a wheel is a little overkill and people need to understand that you don't have to go that big to get your ride looking good.
I have 18s and I love them. Not saying they are better, but 20s aren't needed if they are too expensive.
The trick is to do some good searching on ebay and you can buy a good set of wheels and tires extremely cheap.
My 18s WITH tires cost me $700 shipped to Canada.
The deals are there on ebay. Don't buy from a local ripoff shop when you can get the same thing for less than half the price.

im not sure on the size differences in spacing between genI and genII but when i first started looken for wheels, i asked a local shop the largest i could go, they told me the largest without a c notch would be 20's, but it will be VERRY tight inside, they said they woud keep it down t an 18 unless you have air ride or hydrolics to keep you from rubbing and wrecking some expencive rubbers

Definately don't go with 20s. You'd probably have to go with 30 or 35 series tires, which many shops won't even install. It's very easy to tear a tire that low, and easy to scrape the rims doing it. Around here, at the very least, you'd have to sign something saying that the shop is not responsible for damages to the rim before they'd even touch it.
18s look good on a Blazer/S-10. It's not how big the wheels are, it's how much of the circle is metal (I've been told, I've always been into 15" steel rims with 36x12.5 tires, myself). With the old style Blazers, 18's would fill much of the wheel well.

I still like the looks of my stock 15" 4x4 mags on my first gen.
When I get the chance to paint the Blazer I'll paint the insets to match, then polish the rest to a mirror like finish.
Besides I'm less likely to have the stock wheels stolen these days

Don't match paint the insets.
Doesn't look great at all.

If I don't like them BlazerLT it won't take me long to re-paint them. Besides they'll be dirty 30 days in a 31 day month
My Blazer is Black so I can get away with more than other colors
