need help with brakes!

i have a 92 sse, the brakes have completely quit on me...notice when trying to brake a loud thud comes from what sounds like the master cylinder maybe?? anyway when the thud occurs all the brake pressure is lost, right front wheel locks while the rest roll free....any ideas??

Sounds like a master cylinder to me.

:smile: right on the money, replaced the master cylinder and the brakes are back to new
