okay within the past week ive had all of the engine belts including the timing belt changed, i also in the past week after the belts were changed put on an AEM v2 intake. but recently, it seems like right when i turn on my car and drive down my drive way and push in the clutch it makes a loud screaching kind of noise, and it does this for the next few times i up-shift then stops and doesnt do it again until the next time i start my car... i dont even know if its the actual clutch making the noise i just know that thats usually when i hear it... any idea would be appreciated... my car always breaks right about i take it to a mechanic :( coincidence... i think not...

get some wb-40 and spray it on some of the belts,,, if there's a small tear or something like that it will quiet it while spraying ...just a thought

do you think the belts would be making noise because they were just changed?

i think i can comfirm that it was a loose alternater belt because my battery just died and it never dies... im taking it back to that stupid ass mechanic tomorrow.

unfortunatly the mechanic i went to thought it was my fault for not connecting the battery back up tight enough when i put on my intake but he almost had proven me wrong until it started making the noise again... now i guess i gotta go back AGAIN and bitch about the alternater belt AGAIN
