I was wondering if I add a cherry bomb in place of stock muffler if I will have problems with sensors and have the check engine light on all the time and if this would harm the engne in anyway?

no it shouldn't i cut mine off and replaced it with pipe so it is straight pipe all the way back from the converter. no problems or lights and it sounds great. i have the 5.4. but no it wont effect it at all. it is only there to keep the vehicle quiet. dont take the converter off though. now that will lead to problems and engine light. but yes it is safe to put the cherry bomb on or even weld pipe in the mufflers place.

Put on 29 1/2 " glasspack left on cats sounds throaty not pingy or obnoxious and no computer warnings.
