Navigation System While Driving

Does anyone know how to enable menu functions and like while the car is moving?

I've only had our G for a week, but I figured it was a safety feature. I also noticed that once the car is moving all commands are frozen. Guess Infiniti figured drivers already had enough to concentrate with cell phones, lap tops and what-nots. :p
