I've been looking at the different brands of headers on ebay. Which brand seems to be the best? I've heard OBX is pretty good, and that Pacesetter is to be avoided like the plague. Anybody back this up? Not lookin to spend more than $150 with shipping.

Yea i was thinking that also.. $150 ship is really steep for a header, even on ebay.. unless you find one used in very good condition. But who whats a used header??

I have seen a bunch of no-name headers on ebay for around $100-110 shipped. Any experiences with these? If cost was not a factor, which brand is best? $150 was just an estimate. If the right header is more, please list it.

On another note, any preference for 4-2-1 or 4-1? I think 4-2-1 adds more torque, whereas 4-1 adds horse. Is this correct?

OBX is about as bad as Pacesetter

Pacesetter is bad because they use really soft metals and even their coatings don't do a very good job of preventing them from rusting. And rust on a thin, soft, metal results in leaks.

DC Sports makes a 4-2-1 header that costs $267. That's probably what I'd go with.

I would go with DC or GReddy, they are more expensive but are top notch material.

Allright thanks guys for the input. I would have just bought some pos offa ebay not knowing. DC Sports will probably be my choice, a little cheaper.

another thing you can try is megan. I heard that they werent bad and after they get hot they still look cool and still have the same performance boosts.

Anyone else have any opinions? I checked out Megan and they seemed fairly cheap in price. Might be thinking about them. Thx
