Ok wassup this is my second prob with my 92 Taurus. It started with a small transmission fluid leak then the leak got worse. Now when driving my car will jerk into gear and after stopping at a red light and accelerating it will take a minute for it the slip into gear. The leak is worse when the car is running. Any suggestions on what to do???

where is she leaking from? If it's the trans cooling lines, they can be replaced in your driveway. More than likely, you're running way below fluid level specs.

I've had a similar problem with my Taurus. I ended up having to replace the transmission.

The other place it could be leaking is the Torque Coverter Seal which the only way to check that is pulling the engine. It would be coming out from were the tranny joins the engine. I take it you have checked the gasket for the pan already?

I had this same problem in my 93 taurus, found the cooling lines were leaking at the radiator..i replaced all the cooling lines for about 50 bucks and the problem was solved, they are kind of a pain to get in and out of the small area, much easier if you can get it on a lift.
