The big question is whether this is a new mold (1/24) by Aoshima (woohoo!) or a modification of AMT mold (1/25) Aoshima used for the Bomex Supra (boo!). Anyone got info on this?

Finally more Supras! :)
I'm personally going with the Original Combat.
Hope they make the Ridox and Top Secret GT300 Supra or Top Secret G-force Supra.

I believe that's the only difference. According to Veilside's site, the C-II version only lists the front bumper. All the other pieces are from the C-I.

Hope it's not the AMT rebrand.

If it's a real Aoshima and have an engine (ok i'm dreaming) it would be a real killer.

Yes, it did listed as 1/24 scale. But remember when the released of Bomex Supra? They had list as 1/24 too...then after they got the pict (and the model is on their hand), they change it to 1/25.
This time, I really hope it's a 1/24 scale as I had preorder on it too. :rolleyes:

hopefully they don't use the AMT kit for this veilside versions. so for now, i wont pre-order it, just in case they turn out to be the 1:25 ones.

True, the interior is the same a AMT.
But i'm not sure for the body. I think they remake the whole body (since the AMT is "convertible". It look rounder and better imo.

Check out the front. I doesn't look very accurate to me... BTW, did you guys see the three spokes wheels on the Hyper HKS Silvia :D And those Skyline drifters... Ow man, to much kits, to less time...

I agree with Tonioseven..the rims, nitrous bottles, the amp system, and the headlights are reminiscent of the AMT kit.

what a let down :( however, I must say that the body shape of the AMT kit is pretty accurate. Only things that bother me are the tail lights, the headlights, and the scale.

The hood is wrong, there should be one big vent at the middle and two mini vents to the sides, but I only see the mini vents.

Looks all out of proportion to me. But forget that, Vertex ridge S15 and 4 door R34 look hot!!!

I need to buy a house so when all these boxes come to my parents place, they don't tell me to not waste my money......

Those Silvia's and Skyline's are sick!!

It's quite disappointing that the kit is based on the AMT one, but still it will supply good body parts for the Tamiya Supra. It's just that we have to do the enlarging job like we always do on the Fujimi's Silvia resin parts. :)

OMG! Maybe is time for me to cancel my order, very :disappoin on it, thought they got a new tooling on these.

Cancelled my pre-order this morning!

As I remeber the AMT kit has engine and open hood. For me it seems that this models has no engine, otherwise it would be shown. Also the roof is new. Maybe they produced new exterior and kept some parts from AMT, like NOS, amp etc...
But the front bumper seems a littlebit strange for me.
I think it worth 2000Yen
