The car is a ricer wanna be. It doesn't get any worse. The think is praticaly a 3000GT with Dodge on it. And the spoiler is SO NASTY!!!!!!!!

I don't know what a Stealth looks like so I based my opinion upon the 3000GT/GTO which is a BEAUTIFUL car

I hate the way the rear spoiler is directly on top of the window.
I think its rather ugly.

the front is okay, but hte back is horrible. the rear spoiler and the tail lights are horrible. and its sooo high off the ground when its stock. it looks like a suv. and sooo are those nasty ass rims that they come with.

A bit freakish.. and I am sick of the look of the GTO too.
Glad we got rid of them....
Still with 400+ HP they don't go to bad....

Incorrect. Some have problems when the clutch is dropped at 5K rpms repeatedly, but most do not with normal driving (mine for instance)

I respect your opinion Yogs still, another problem is many of New Zealands big 3000GT community have complained that the 4WD chassis can't handle the mods- I have heard Americans complain of the same thing, basically the power is too much for it.

2. The Stealth is a mitsu with Dodge badges. They are the same exact car you dolt.

As for my opinion, I think that the Stealth and the 3000GT are both very fine looking machines. Had to get rid of the mitsu turbos and put some Garretts on there. As for the drivetrain problem, I would like you to show me a drivetrain that like having the clutch dumped at 5000+ RPM constantly.

Mitsubishi and Chrysler were good friends and interchanged parts a lot. The 3000GT and the Stealth are exactly the same; they rolled off the same assembly lines. The only difference is the body, that's it. In fact the Dodge Avenger is a Mitsubishi with Dodge badges.

But Whitebread let me remind you that Chrysler practically owns Mitsubishi since they have 85% of the voting stock. Calling the Stealth a ricer wannabe is stupid, and you obviously have no idea what the term ricer really means.

I love my Dodge Stealth, and it is no ricer, nor a ricer wanna-be. Just because a car is made in japan doesn't mean it is a ricer. You don't see any stealths or 3000gt's running around with altezza's or clear tail lights and crap like that. And the comment on the tail-lights is going to have to be a little more specific, as there are two different tail-light set ups, one on the corners, one across the whole back (RT and ES/base respectively). My car is not even a TT and its still quick as hell, especially for being NA.

I love 3000GT's!! My most favorite car in the world!!! As for Stealth??? I dont know...its alright....only cause it has the same Front as the 3000GT!

now wait a minute. does chrysler own 85% of mitsu? i thought japanese law said that a foreign company could not own a majority of a japanese company?

The stealth is teh exact same car as teh 3000GT other than the lighting and badges. Personally, the stealth looks less tacky to me, because the scoops on it don't have fake ribbing on them, like the 3000 does:

I agree with you Chris, I prefer the Stealth. Th eone you pictured looks exactly like one of my friends R/T TT Stealths with aftermarket wheels. I love the wing on the Stealth as well.

And yes Chrysler owns about 85% of Mitsubishi. If you can prove me wrong, by all means, do.

Did ya'll know they made a fourth Smokey&TheBandit movie & it had a TT Stealth instead of a Firebird. It was a made for tv movie so it's kinda hard to find however.:(

What are you talking about it is a wanna-be ricer? You are retarded, for one thing I'll agree with you that the spoiler is hella ugly and the rims are ugly but that can all be changed. One thing I wanna make clear is that if it is a wanna be ricer and the 3000 gt is one then why is a stealth faster than the 3000gt? And the fact that it has the dodge name makes it even better cause im proud to have an american made car and to support our workers. So, do you think that a 3000gt is a ricer wanna be cause if so how can a stealth have the exact same engine and everything the same exept difference in the trim and spoiler, rims, lights, but be a wanna be of the other one. and dodge and mitsubishi went together in the project because in the late 80's mitsubishi was being beaten in the car world by some other japanese company,( cant remember what) and they tried making a car to beat it but it turned out gay. and dodge was being beaten by the mustang or camaro or something, so they went together to make the car idiot.

Hey I'm not arguing with you at all. I just want to take this chance to ask people out there with stealth's if you really do spend alot of money on repairs cause ive got one with 136,000 miles and I'm just a little worried to know if I just spend money on a body kit.

what makes you think that the stealth is faster than the vr4? if your talking early models 91-93 hell no, the stealth is not faster! but in the later models 95-99 then maybe you could give it a argue, but really its the driver. i never heard of a early stealth running 13.8 or 13.9
but i have heard of the 2nd gens running the same as the vr4 13.5 and 13.6. (and i'm talking stock) i love both stealths and vr4's, hell i own one. and personally believe that the newr stealths look very nice and both the early and late model vr4's are all beautiful.

whoa now, humble yourself, mustang cobra R will eat that car in the 1/4 for breakfast, camaro ss will give it a good race (drivers race) and there's no stock stealth that can move with any ferrari.

The stealth is the car that made me a car freak. the fact that it has AWD,AWS, a twin turbo v6 good for 300 hp in 1992(!), and looks that were a very happy marriage of lamborghini/chrysler portofino and Hyundai HCD-I made me a very very excited 5th grader. The best one is the '94-'96, when they made 320 hp. That was a hot car. yes, the supra was a better one, but that wasn't as significant to my life as starting at those crazy top corner lights on the back end of the stealth when I was 12.
