It's just quitting for no reason.

So, I'm working on insurance, and I can't drive any real distance till I get insurance. I still try to drive the car, at least up and down the driveway when it's nice, but I haven't driven it for about a week.

So, yesterday one of my friends comes over, and I start it up to show him, and it starts up, but when you press the gas, it hesitates really bad. Then it dies, and it won't start up at all. The belts turn, but the engine doesn't start. I go out today to try it again, and it starts up fine the first time. I try to rev it up at little, and it hesistates, then it just straight up quits when I rev it. Now it will start, but it quits as soon as it starts, and if you press the gas at all it just quits immediately.

Any suggestions?

Check fuel filter, spark plugs, go buy some of those fuel injector cleaner thingies. Take two cookies and call us in the morning.
Also check gas tank see if it smells funny. Someone may have put something in it to @#$# with you. Unlikely but still.

I checked to see if anyone had put anything in the gas tank, and I don't think so, because it hissed when I took the cap off because no one had been in it for a while.
