Hello All
First off, i am not a smart man when it comes to wiring, so bare with me. I am about 90% finished a frame off resto of a 73 super and i am having problems with the original wiring. My question is - what exactly are the wires that go to the starter? I know there is a main battery lead, which is connected, and there should be a wire that connects to the ignition via the regulator? If so does the wire come off the harness on the drivers side rear, and what colour is it usually? I have wiring diagrams, and to be honest it makes no sense to me. I am not a smart man when it comes to wiring. I can fabricate anything, but take a welder outta my hand and i am useless.
There are also 2 wires in the engine compartment that are orphaned.. the come off the wiring harness on the passenger side. I believe they are for the reverse sensors on the tranny? Am i right? The rest of the engine wiring seems correct. (Better notes were made ) I have tried hit or miss, and had no luck. Is my next option a new fuse box back harness? Would you recommend it?
Help me.. Spring is here and it's been killing me to see it sit in the garage for 4 years.

there is a wire that goes to the starter then to the fuse box then u the ignition and when u turn the ignition it lets the power ground out the started so it turns over. I had to put a brand new wiring harness and it only took 3 days to rip every wire out and isntall the whole thing. it included all lights, the main wires to the starter and battery and the wires to everything else. The whole harness costs around 70 dollars. i say rewire it.
