Anyone Remove Crx Si Headrest ?

did a search here and some guy had the same problem
im trying to remove the si headrest's of my 90 seats
seats are ripped so im use the headrest in my rear for the hatch.
is there a trick or juist yank them out till i break something :evillol:

They should pull straight up. You may have to hold the locking mechanism to get them out though... can't remember.

but theres no locking mechanism like my 91 si seats in my civic.they are just a pull up but they dont budge. im junk the seats so im just tear it up
i just thought there was a hidden way.

There is a lock ring that you have to use a long 90degree pry tool.
It is a real pain in the ass.
They are on both runners hidden down by the seat frame under the padding.
Most shops will do it for you for free.
