Students out of Control

I live in a small town, filled with a lot of nice small town people and usually everyone gets along very well.

In just the last few weeks ( to be fair this has been a problem for a while but it has just become "big news" ) there has been an increasing problem with students causing a lot of shit during lunch hour.

We're talking about mostly Grade 8,9,10 but there is still some Grade 11 and 12's involved too.

What these little dickwads are now doing is swarming a local restaurant called the Noodle House, which is run by a pair of Chinese people, throwing snowballs, cursing and swearing at the customers, sitting on their cars, scratching the paint, smashing windows etc..
There is about 200 kids involved and it happens during the lunch hour when they all meet up and cause shit.

The owners of this place, who are the nicest people you would ever want to meet, have had enough are are planning on selling. Good luck with that as I can only imagine how difficult it would be to sell knowing the problems that the location has.

They are starting to move to other places in the nearby areas and a lot of people who would normally go to say Dairy Queen for lunch are now going to places out of town to eat.

I seen a group of about 20 kids leaning up against buddies nice H2, rocking it, sitting on it and then throwing snowballs at each other and hitting it.
Buddy comes out of the restaurant and starts telling them to get away from his truck and they all gang up on him and he is forced back inside.

I'm afraid that someone is going to get seriously hurt soon because I could only imagine how pissed I'd be if that happened to me.
I can handle myself pretty well, especially around 14 year olds :rolleyes: but when there are 20 people surrounding you...

Now here in Canada we have the Young Offenders Act which basically states that anyone under a certain age can't be charged.
The problem is that all of these fuckers know this and are taking advantage of it.
One of my good friends is a cop and he told me that he has approached some of these kids and they have said right to his face " I'm only 14, what the fuck are you gonna do?"

If I ( I meaning anyone over 18 ) beat some of these little fuckers down like they should be then you'd be charged.


The Police have taken to video taping and sending the information to the schools involved, but they are really up against it.

What can we ( and I say we as it involves all of us here in Town ) do to stop this shit from happening?

Sure, they can and have put extra officers on site but there is just so many kids involved it is near impossible to track who did what.

Fuckin' pisses me off. No respect for shit.

Try and run a buisness and no one will come near your place for fear of being attacked or your stuff being messed with.

Imagine yourself rollin' up in your ( insert your baby here ) and a bunch of these fuckers start that shit.
What would you do?

Oh yeah, I ran the option of beating a couple of them to death and leaving their corpses out for the rest of them but my cop friend says that wouldn't be a good idea..:lol:

We have a "group" of shit heads, that call them selfs "BFG" or something. I dunno, they're a skate club with about 5 or 6, and they're total assholes, and it's assholes like that that spoil it for the rest of us..

Althought I can pled guilting for spoiling shit, i've been on a certain resorts "most wanted" for a few years when I was younger, hehe.

Sounds like a disciplinary problem. These kids should have to stay on school grounds during lunch. If the school rules were changed then they'd be forced to stay away from the center of town.

Sounds like they're working on a gang mentality, what with the vandalism, scare tactics, etc. Maybe the police have some leeway to act against gang members, even if under age?

Although risky, it might pay to give the beatdown to a couple of them to send a message, since there's no legal way and it's something they'd understand.

let them keep doing whathey doing because when mom finds out they will be in trouble all right. There going to mess with the wrong man car and catch the wrath of the fists from the hands of every suspected victim. They only do that cause they let them get away with it. Back when i was in high school we got out at 3:40. Us football players got out at 2:50 every gameday. Every year there is some stupid guy who goes to a store, fucks it up and ruins it for everybody. The Stores call the school and the school takes away the PRIVILAGE to leave campus and eat.

So in saying reporting should stop it. I mean they are still minors. kindergarten punishments should work even better if they want to act like little kids. Being older is not defined with how bad you are. And that is what those kids are doing.

It's not about what the Cops can't do, but what they can do. They can chose to ignore any other group attacking these kids.

If I had it my way, I would get a dozen people with paintball guns and park them on a roof and wait for these punks. Get smelling paint, like green apple and when the kids return to school... they can suspend every kid that smells like apples or has paint on them.

And all the while the cops are looking the other way.

Do what i would do, roll up in <insert vehicle here> and when they start that shit, calmy step out and show your ball bat, i keep a 18" aluminum tball bat in my truck, it works wonders to keep people from even thinking about doing shit....and then ask if they have antyhing to discuss..

I can't believe that the cops don't have that area staked out especially if its disrupting the a business and causing property damage. Aside from that, there is little anyone over 18 can do on their own. The poor little children are just being nuaghty - if they were 18 it would boarderline a felony.

I've never seen a situation like that. I could only imagine how hard it would be not to start whipping ass.

Just wait till someone kills one of them, That should put them back at bay. No stupid shit like that around here at my high school. Cant go off campus anyway at lunch.

you're wrong about the cops not being able to do anything... When i was 14 i knew plenty of kids that got arrested and went to jail for juveniles. Your cops are just lazy, the young offender act doesnt mean they cant do shit. It means they get lesser charges, and their record gets cleared when they're 18.

I've lived in big cities my whole life so i dont know how it is there. But here they know young kids in big groups start shit, so theres security at every plaza. If 2 or more kids are standing in front of a store for longer than 2 minutes they make you leave. No loitering

When i was 14 we would usually make fun of the security callin them rent-a-cops and shit till they'd call the cops on their walkie talkies. And then we'd leave... but it would still prevent us from just chilling causing shit in front of a store, cause as soon as we knew cops were coming we'd get outta there.

I dunno....I'd get about 7 or 8 of some big guys, or whoever you get along with that can whip some serious ass, show up in tight shirts and jeans, so that way you guys look badass, then just threaten the shit out of them. If one of them steps up, knock his ass on the ground and that should send a message. But if they're still little punk ass bitches then i'd just unleash on them. It's taht way around here. I'm a junior this year, fairly good sized guy and most kids in our high school would stay away from me and such. We have these little 8th grade kids pickin fights with us and shit, i mean here we have some 13 or 14 year old, about 5'5" prob around 100 lbs, trying to fuck with some high school kids that range from 5'10" to 6'2" and we're all 170 lbs - 200 lbs. Now obvioulsy size isn't everything but it's just pathetic when these little shits try starting things with us. They do that shit too, walkin around town in these baggy ass jeans with baseball bats, hell, let them swing a baseball bat at me, I'll let the, then I'd slam their head into the ground and walk off.

If the cops aren't going to do anything someone needs to, it doesn't have to be physical, hell get a bunch of water balloons and toss at em, tell them next time it'll be worse. Either way someone needs to band up against the little shits.

the sad thing about this is that you cant go starting a war with 14 yr olds. Since you are older, you understand the laws of war. There are certain unwritten rules. like, don't do things that will seriously injure people, kill people, etc. But these kids are too dumb to realize the consequences. You may throw water balloons, but they may come back with BB guns. Also if you beat a couple of them down, they will still comeback and outnumber you and being as immature and ignorant as they are, they won't know when to stop. It takes some rules to handle large amounts of kids. Tell the cops to do something about it. Put handcuffs on the little fuckers, take them in, sit them down scare the fuck out of em, make their parents pick them up, and close the campus during lunch, and have a couple officers patrol the school. Kids push buttons to see how far they can go. At this rate, something awful is bound to happen due to the negligence of the adults in the community. The kids won't discipline themselves.

Something better be done or else somebody is going to end up dead and it's going to be one of the kids. I live in an area that has your basic rednecks who don't take this stuff. Something kinda like this happened in my area about 20 years ago and the kids messed with these rednecks who thought they'd teach the kids a lesson by unloaded a few gun shots at them. I guess you know what happened after that.

Seriously its only a matter of time before they F*** with a person that is having a bad day or doesn't take shit.

I was at Taco Bell a few days ago, and when the Middle School gets out all of the kids swarm to Taco Bell.

They always ravage the place spilling soda everywhere, and they throw sauce packets all over the place. Like 40+ kids playing like its freaking Chuckie Cheese.

On my way out with my buddy on of the workers tells the kids to stop throwing the packets. The guy had a spanish accent so some of the kids were being dousche bags, and saying "I can't understand you" "what".

I then decided to back the guy up, and say "he said don't throw the packets" My buddy who is half mexican and white was pissed at their disrespect and said "DOn't throw the fucking packets, your making a fuckin mess!"

On our way out this pudgy little boy made some remarks to us "shutup", and I guess he said more shit once me and my friend got into my car. My friend started yelling at him from my car, and proceeded to grab the door handle as if he was going to whoop the shit out of the kid.

As much as i wanted to see the kid get beat down I took off so he couldn't get out of the car to keep him from going to jail. It's frustrating since we're both 18, and have the teenage mentality.

I have a 14 yr old cousin who can be an abslote nightmare...he shot a ton of fireworks at me on the 4th...and a lot of other stuff. By the way hes like 5'4 250. So i walked up to him and punched him hard right in the stomach...he runs off crying..thats the end of it. But i cant imagine having 20 of these kids runnin around.

I don't know how it is at that school but at my old school we could only leave with a good behavior record and at least a 3.0 gpa. And any time a place called about kids starting trouble, our PRIVILAGES were taken away for 2 weeks!

*Update*

Just a quick update on this situation,

First of all :rofl: at some of the responses..

So now we have the Mayor, the Chief of Police, the Owners of the Restaurant and the Principals of a couple of the Schools all having meetings which will probably amount to SFA ( Sweet Fuck All).

The Police have increased their patrols and are video taping some of the worst offenders.

I was in that area last weekend and five kids walked by while I was in the Drive Thru and they were walking around all pumped up like they were proud of themselves looking in car wondows and seeing if they could get a rise out of anyone.

When they got close my truck one of them gave me the stare until I rolled down my window and asked " You got some sort of staring problem that me ripping your pencil neck off your shoulders would cure?"

"Uhhh, no, no, I uhhh, thought you were someone else"... then they booked out of there..

This was all over the news and a lot of people were pretty pissed off that something like that was happening around here.
Parents of these kids have been notified of what their kids are doing and for the most part most have kicked thier asses but some of them just don't give a fuck..losers!

As I said we're a small town ( total year round population for the WHOLE Island is 138,000 ) so I'm guessing that with all of the news that this is generating that it will hopefully take care of itself as we don't usually put up with this kind of shit around here.

As someone said in an earlier post, drewh4386, (All your peers gettin on you for bs works too), so I'm hoping that the kids will take care of it for themselves..

Time will tell I guess.
