Questions on the Borg Warner 9 bolt

I am thinking of buying a used Borg Warner 9 bolt 3.27 rear end. Does anybody that has one in their car have any comments? I can get the rear end with complete disc brakes, proportioning valve, master cylinder, etc for $300. If it is in good shape and the limited slip isn't worn out I think I'd be happy, but aren't these tough to find parts for? I'm worried if it isn't fine It'd be easier redoing my 10 bolt.

see your PM about this. Its more than a bolt in operation, but if youre going to be making serious power, its definatly worth the investment. Especialy for 300 bucks. I have a similar rear end available down the street from me thats going for 450 bucks. For me it would be a bolt in operation because my car already has a 9 bolt. For you you would need the rear proportioning valve, and master cylender from the doner car.

I just swapped out my 2.77 9 bolt for a 3.27 9 bolt. Mine was very easy, hardest thing was probably popping out the axles to change the backing plates and swap my big brakes over to the rearend I put in. They are definately stronger than the 10 bolt though and parts are a little harder to find, it just takes some time.
