well, I finally murdered my worthless subs.
Now it's time to buy some REAL equipment...I'd like about 2 to 300 watts per speaker, I'd like two speakers but will settle for one, and am looking to spend about 250 to 300 bucks. Bonus points if you can recommend just a speaker that works well with a Sony Xplod 222 watt amp, cause i can get one of those for free.
With all that said, please list the speaker/amp combos that work best together.

avalanche 15 160? im assuming you mean atlas 15.. but on that note..
from what ive heard (cant really say shit cause i havent heard one) but from what ive heard it has amazing SQ but lacks a little in the SPL.. and im assuming someone looking to use a sony amp would be looking more for SPL, however, dustin if you want a sub to sound good that would be the one. im even thinking about that sub if i were to build an SQ setup

the sony amp is in the running purely because it is free. I am actually a big fan of SQ over pressure level- too much shaking gives me a headache.
