60 in a 35, $115, 3000GT. Cop complimented me on how fast I took off from a stop and then became a dick because I was in out of state in NH and he knew I wouldent challenge it.

This should go into the Non Specific forum. There was a thread about this a while back too. L8...

In my 2004 Nissan Maxima SE, $650.... Burned out coming out of a side-street and reached 65 mph in a 30. Cop saw and paced me the whole way. He nailed me for negligent driving in the 2nd degree.

never been stopped :D
Was with my GF, back in high school days, she hit 127 on the Interstate (1994 benzo e320), then we got clocked by a hidden cycle cop, stopped a mile or so later ... luckily he just got her at 103, wrote it for 90, she got off with traffic school!
The same weekend we'd destroyed a civic in a 1965 Mercery Comet ... not the best weekend for her.

Only recieved two tickets, and they were identical tickets: running/rolling a stop sign...$153 dollar fine each time.

$20 seatbelt ticket. Although that was talked down from 107 in a 55. Been pulled over 10-12 times, half of which have been for 45+ over the limit. About a 1/3 involved street racing, and none of them have stuck except that damn seatbelt ticket
Oh yeah, cars...um my 2x in my vr4, a few in my honda, once in my mom's subaru, once in a friend's corolla, and once in a friend's stang...I think that's all of them. :evillol:

$153
Maybe I'll start coming to complete stops ... although to me a complete stop is actually shifting into first and getting down to about 5mph :p

Anyone have good experience with radar detectors?
I work at a police department, and at least around here, it'd be useless ... most of the officers rarely, if ever, bust out the radar ... they just pace people instead. On highways though, I'd think Highway Patrols / DPS would use radars a lot more often.

Radar detectors are pointless nowadays cause the police who use them dont turn their radars on until a car approaches.

I had one for a few years, it isn't perfect, but it did save me quite a few times. It wont replace paying attention to the road, but it is a good supplement to have. Just make sure you hide it under your seat if you get pulled over. All in all it was worth the $80 I paid for it on ebay.

this is not true as some cops in my area leave it on just driving around normally.
