Comfort Control Module Location

My 2001 Jetta GL is experiencing the symptoms of having a bad comfort control module (non-working interior lights, door locks, trunk release, etc.). My question is, where is the CCM located in 2001 Jettas? And how do I get to it. I am hoping I can locate it on my own to retrieve the part number, then I figure I can order one online, because going through the dealership, I'll be set back about 400 bucks just to get the damn part, not even counting installation. ANY help is greatly appreciated!

Can't help you find it because I don't know where it is in the car, but before you drop the cash at the dealership call 1-800-VW-PARTS. I guarantee they'll have the part and for much less than dealership cost. Best part is that it's all OEM.
