Ok. I bought a 1500watt(yeah right) p miller bazooka amp 800.1RSA (i think). I have 2 infinity 12's in a sealed box. I have 10 gauge speaker wire and 4 guage power wires. My amp loses power at higher volumes. It doesnt have the thump my MTX 801D amp did. Do you guys think its my battery or alternator? Possible connection failing? Do i need a yellow top? Red top? Does them amp just suck? it said something like 924 watts @ 2 ohms RMS (or 1 i think) I dont want a capacitor because they look like shitty money thieves. I need help because if this just the amp, i am taking it back as SOON as possible!

It's most likely just the amp..... and your right capacitors are just money thieves......in most cases they're worthless. If your subs are in a sealed box port them and you'll get a LOT more output then gaining a couple hundred watts.

Cool. On my way to look at ported/tools to port now.

Actually me or NGSM13 can design you a ported bo that would be best for your subs. The you can build it yourself to save money..... and it will sound a lot better then prefabs.
