need an auto trans for a 88 corolla

im new to toyotas' . i just bought a 88 corolla w/ 89,000 miles.
the interior and exterior is flawless.
the only problem is it needs a trans...
i dont know where to look for the engine code,but on the
valve coverthere is a sticker that reads 4a-k84.
if anyone knows where i can get a trans for this car at a
good price then please let me know.

Check local junkyards...one of them should have something somewhere.

does 4a-k84 sound right for the engine code?
