Maybe getting a Stealth

Whats up guys? I might be getting a 1995 Dodge Stealth R/T for a really good price. I have never really looked into Stealth's or really know anything about them. The person that owned the car before me has done a lot of work to it and has made it really fast. But I'm not for sure if it's the TT version, or it's just N/A. The only thing that really needs work is the interrior, a crack in the front bumper, and maybe a paint job. But i was just wanting to know what some of the things I should look for and if there is anything I should be careful of. Thanks in advance!

Just make sure the turbos if its a tt are not cracked or damaged, check little things and have a mechanic check it out.

Yea, thats the only thing I didn't do was pop the hood. The main reason being is that it was carbon fiber, and it was locked down and didn't have the keys to open it at the time or else I would have known if it were TT or not. I'm really hoping that it is, because it's only costin me around $3000 for the whole car. And the guy has more than that in audio equipment. The only reason it's that way is because my dad arrested him on a bunch of drug counts the other night and siezed his car. So when it goes to auction, I might get it. So don't think that it's a POS because of the price. Just taking advantage of someone else's bad choices. :naughty:

Make sure it aint smoking. Shift through the gears and make sure it isn't grinding. It's auction, so I don't know if you are allowed to drive it, but for that price if it's TT I'd scoop it up quick.

YOu can tell if it's a TT w/o even poping the hood, go inside the car, and see how many gears it has; if it's a 5 speed, it's an N/a, but if it's a 6 speed, than it's a TT, simple as that :)...

Well, to tell ya the truth. I didn't think to look at the shifter because I was too busy looking at the outside more than the inside. :banghead:
