Hey all,
On both my '90 and '94 2-door Metros, the window regulator (scissor style w/ spiral tension spring) on the driver's side have worn gears.
From going to the bone yard and picking through the Geos I have found that this style of regulator is used on '90-'94 2-door Metros and that the gears tend to wear out (I haven't found one used one without significant damage to the outer arc gears). The window regulators on the 4-door models are not interchangable with the 2-door window regulators.
Anyway, does anyone know a decent source to get a replacement regulator???
Replacing the gears is not practical as it is spot welded. So I have to replace the entire mechanism.

I saw one for sale on eBay but the picture is terrible and does not show the gear wear clearly. This being one of the major problems on this part, i am reluctant to throw good money on a risk.
The other major problem I have found on the window regulators for this model is the white plastic slide that breaks with age.

Try this:
http://www.partstrain.com/products/prodpage.html?id=MvZucQNY&mc=Window%20Regulator&make=SUZUKI&model=SWIFT&year=1994
How does $19.95 sound? And they claim it's in stock.

that was only for a 4dr manual window regulator. I need the 2dr which is different than the 4dr (go figure...)
but thanks for trying.
