what do you guys think of the zc motor?? my friend was telling me to get that for the meantime. i really want a b16ajdm. he said that i could get it for 600 installed and i will kick a good amount of ass with it. and i heard in a review that it was quicker off the line than the b16 but the b16 got it in 3rd.

Both engines that you are considering are pre-OBD engines. The only B16 you could get for $600 is the A1, 88-91 Pre-OBD engine. It's not only illegal to put this engine in your car but you'd have to convert various thing for it to work like a hydro-to-cable conversion for one.

They have 92-95 civic changer overs... I can get you one, but for the cost you might as well save up another $300-$400 an just get a B16a -- get VTEC to go along with your DOHC, and a better tranny, newer motor, etc. Personally unless you absolutely dont want to get better (I mean why would you NOT want to for only $300-$400 more?) then get the ZC... otherwise, keep your motor and go take your next step up!

they have the cable to hydro tranny conversions at www.hasport.com and cost ~$200. if you get a zc dont buy from nippon-motors. my brother got one from there for his crx and a rod snapped a few weeks after he got it and they have no warranty. and the engine was at only 3000 rpm when it snapped. so if you want a zc head let me know.
