Vote for paint.

Well after the 240 meet this weekend the car is going to be stripped down engine pulled interior gutted glass removed, sanded down and getting a nice new paint job. The question is how to paint it? I am pretty set on doing the top half of the car black I think it looks really good. But the question is how to paint the lower half? Pearl white, Yellow, Black, Silver, Red wine, Red, back daytona blue.... and several other colors have passed through my mind, I am unsatisfied with all of them so far or at least not positive of any set one. So I am going to put it to a vote, any graphics any color combo's or anything else that would go along with paint is welcome so if anyone would like to have a chance to have your dream paint job come to life or just feel like throwing out an idea we will be seeing a shiny new 240 in about 2 months. (I hate to sand)

Forest green/silver flake. Or midnight blue/silver flake.
Im a huge fan of the flake. Bass boat style flake. Mmm.

do you want something flashy? or subtle?
what color scheme are you picturing in your head?
like: rim color, accents, c/f or no, etc etc

i like white fastbacks. clean and simple. black is slick but you can't see the contour lines... eh.. either way nothing too flashy for me.

My vote goes to black or white with black roof.

ahhh white with black roof, my car USED to be that way......now its black primer with beat to hell body, so nice let me tell ya. Here's what you should do, go to your local automotive paint supplier. Look through a ppg or house of color sample book, or what ever brand name they carry. You can find the color of your dreams there. There's prolly some types of paint youv never even heard of or seen before. Countless shades to choose from. good luck. And plz dont do flake whatever you do!!!!! Plus if your a novice painter, flake can give you hell!!!! You'll see what i mean if you go that route. I personally like doing marblizer paints, its just a fun process. But i personally would never have marbalizer on my car, to showy for me. My fav is jet black. Which i plan on doing.

i have always liked this color and never seen it on a 240 so it gets my vote

Acura Desert Silver, i think its a Mercedes color too..

EDIT: It would look great with the black roof in my opinion

I like the Pearl White that Infinity has for the G35 coupe. It looks badass with bronze or gold wheels, same goes for black, it looks great with bronze or gold or silver wheels.

i like the silver blue paint... (thats what i have, well whats left of it, most of my bumper is orange , the paint fell off!) lol

hey it's cool. not everyone has the luxury of buying a digital camera... heck i dont' have one either. just my handy lil' camera phone. anyway, maybe eventually when you can get a hold of one.. post some up. no rush...
