1988 Accord LXi , 302 K miles , 4-spd Automatic with lockout
torque converter.
The torque converter used to lockout between 45-50 mph and when the
lockout engaged there was a distinct shift .
Now the lockout occurs between 55-60 mph and the lockout feels like
a gradual slip rather than a distinct shift.
Is the torque converter worn out ? Is there a way to adjust the lockout
point? Thanks

It sounds like the lockup itself might be getting slippy, or the solenoid is tired. I would expect if the solenoid was slow it wouldn't really effect the feel of the lockup, but might delay it until higher speed. No, there is no way to adjust. It is module-contolled.
