I have a 2000 Cougar V-6. The coolant light stays on until it has warmed up for a while. I checked the level and Its ok. Heat doesnt seem to be what it should be. Any ideas?? Thanks

do you park the car on an incline?

It does sit overnight on a slight incline but all day its parked level.

Ok. I usually just fill mine over the "full" line and it tends to take care of it.
