My Car Won't Startup without a Jump

I have replaced my alternator and my battery. For whatever reason, My car will not startup without jumper cables, and my headlights get dim like my battery is dying but it is a new battery. Help!!!!!!!!!!1

You should check the other end of the battery cables where the go to the starter & transmission. Also check the connector at the alternator, the plug end is pron to corrode.
