I am buying a couple of Nology spark boosters, one came in today then I realized since I have two coil packs I need two boosters duuuuhhhh!:disappoin
Anyway, it'll be here on Thursday. Just wondering if anyone has ever used them and how well they perform or help out. My engine (2.4L DOHC) is in tip top shape so I don't expect much, but I decided to get them because I'm starting to work on getting more power out of the engine so I figured a good place to start is having a strong spark. After I sell my house I'm planning (not sure yet) on Turbo and possibly stand alone ECM. I am putting on headers soon and larger TB. Any input would help, thanks!
Oh yeah, I monitor my fuel consumption fairly closely and with 100K KMs on the car I currently get between 9.9-10.1L/100KM in the city and 7.1-7.4L/100KM on the highway so I will see if this improves any also.

Awesome, Forkliftguy. I think you should see good results. I've never tried them myself personally. I don't think you'll neccesarily get any more power, but I would imagine you will have slightly smoother acceleration, and should see slightly better mileage cleaner spark = more fuel burnt = less wasted = better mileage. Spark boosters are going to go good with those lowered restriction mods, like your headers and TB that you're gonna be getting. Good luck - let us know how it goes.
