nobody wants some

not sure if this is the OT spot but here goes,

I swear nobody in my county wants any of my new car. I just got a 96 tsi AWD with loads of mods, and every time i pull up next to sombody as soon as they hear the BOV the drive like 20 mph, while 5 seconds before that they were trying to race everybody in sight before i pulled up. silly ricers, the only person that has tried to race me in the last month since i got my car was a 04 stang GT, and he couldnt t catch up in any gear

I had to same thing today. A civic was swerving in and out of a little traffic. As soon as i creep up to him and rev and let off my bov he then lets off his gas to get like 1-2 cars behind me.

LOL... are you complaining or bragging? Most of the time it would be like taking candy from a baby!!
This is why I want to keep the exterior of my talon as plain and "sleeper" as I can...

im confused at some ppl...at a red light today on my way to school, i had a sentra V-spec next to me. He took off on green, screeching tires and all, before I even realized he wanted to "race". FINE.

Doing only 12 psi (has previously turned down boost for daily commute) I went for him, though my launch left a lot to be desired, and just as I hit boost at about 150 meters or so, he brakes and gives me a smile, like he just *owned* my ass. Im like, WTF?!. Was that 150m relay supposed to be a "race"? So yeah, ppl have their own ideas on how they "won" a race.
