street racing extravaganza!!

Does anyone live in the cincinnati ohio region? in eastgate on friday nights like 200 cars meet up to race down 275.theres alot of imports and mustangs and corvettes.even a saleen mustang that nobody will race.we need to get some camaros there to make our presence known. :evillol:

i hope no cops in that area are in here posting and they see this, im sure if their are that will soon come to an end. i hope u didnt forget street raceing is illegal as hell, and concidering that im an ex cop and im sure some people who still are leark in here, that was a nice move its a wounder how u people get caught...smh

yeah, I've always thought that meeting in large groups to street race was pretty fuggin stupid. I'd rather take my chances with those "once in a while" light to light races. Not that that's any more legal or safe. But, hey, we've all done it. And if some little kid in a 4 banger revs his shit at the light, hell, would you resist?

Aleast u can get those, all the 4 bangers over here only care about cosmetics, and my car sounds like a beast (cuz of the exhaust leak) and it still isn't enough to provoke. Maybe i should get a custom body kit ( :banghead: for even thinkin of such a thought)

Well,see, here's the deal with my car. I recently painted it and haven't replaced the badges yet. And, I got a Flowmaster catback with a single outlet. This way, my car LOOKS like a V6 to people who dont know any better. Ofcourse, when I rev it up, my cover's blown. But that's why I always get import guys trying to race me.

i found out tonight that this street racin thing has been goin on for a couple of years and they do have camaras set up.i guess theyre waitin and rackin up the images and cash em in later.but i still dont know why they havent done anything yet

With the exception of burnouts and donuts...

Find your closest dragstrip. Not only is it safer and legal but you'll get a print out showing exactly what you ran. Then you'll want to go home and make it faster!

BTW- If you never raced on the strip it is somewhat of a reality check for some people. They blab they have XXX hp and can run a XXX quarter mile but don't even come close when they show up.

Burnounts are WAY too much fun... haven't attempted donuts though... with my luck, it'll whip around and wheels fly off, do several flips, roll a couple times and I'll get through it untouched only to have my wife kick my ass while me and my kids are crying about my car.

dude tellin ppl where a big street race meeting is held is kinda dumb, but ppl you have to remeber he trying to call us out! if i was there i would show up in my LS-1 Z/28. dont get me wrong i know it lame to mention hot spots but if i was him i would say pretty much anything to get other Camaros (Fellow riders) to show up. i wouldnt mind slaping down lil kids in there weak 4 bangers who think there fast just cuase they have is a intake system. hahahhaha..

Edge Water is probably the closest drag strip, it's towards Harrison. The have test and tune nights and you see everything from Mom and Pop cars to Alcohol Burners pumping 250 plus MPH in the QTR. They also sell racing grade gas. You have to were a helmet to race there I belive. I think the charge is like $15.

yup pretty stupid, but ill tell ya it is pretty fun watching that shit, come to detroit michigan on a friday night and near bell isle thousands of cars that no one can touch, race it out and show off
more people go there to race than the 5 drag strips in michigan, i have seen lambos ferraris vipers and even pure race cars, or anything badass people take out there these guys are no joke though bloomfield hills is the richest city in america and gross pointe is pretty close and they all know about it. these dudes out here are no joke. i have seen a camaro with twin turbos (didnt get that good a glance) take a pink slip from a ferrari testarosa so i would not even race anyone out there unless i saw what was under the hood.

2 turbos, now thats just over kill, you only need one 2 is nothing more than a problem. one is more than capable to get the job done
