starting over

Thats it boys! I blew my engine in my 88 stang! Never race a vette and push the pedal to the floor so it hits 9000 rpms its not good. But good news is i have already got the new block at the machine shop and new trw race pistons and rods are being put in along with a rather large but mild cam are also being put in. Then we will transfer the cast iron Gt-40 heads to the new block along with my torker intake and 650 cfm holley. But this time i thought what the hell and we are sending in my stock c4 to get liberated with a shift kit and all new bearings and a new clutch pack something with a little more bounce. Also i have picked up a 150-250 shot of NOS to help out. Then we thought why have all this power and not be able to put it to the ground with the stock 8.8 rear end so we are swapping the rear end out and putting in a rear end with 3.55 gears something mild but something with a little bite. Now my question is what do you boys think this engine will be putting to the ground in hp numbers? with Nos? and without?

9000 huh? :screwy: dont race a vette again unless u got 400hp. somehow those heavy ass things are quick. im gettin 2 think its the 6 speed since the autos suck. well ttyl
