3rd brake light

Does anyone else have 3rd brake light not working. I have a 93 and the 3rd brake light doesn't work in spoiler.. its getting power up to it but will not work.. havn't had the time as of yet to tear it apart but are they known to having dry soder points and crap on em.. And they are LED correct?
